New Yorkers would gasp at what I'm going to admit but the first thing I did after arriving in New York was to get a bagel from Green Trees. It's almost impossible to get a bad bagel in NYC. The coffee? Well EVERYONE drinks coffee with sugar and milk and that's what you get by default if you order a simple coffee. Every time I have ordered coffee here I always get the confirmation question: Black? You drink it black?

Part 1 is now over

Part 1 of Earthkora is now over and I am residing in my new adopted home of Old Greenwich, Connecticut. Part 2 will take me from Rome to Beijing via the Trans Siberian Railroad.

Julian, your blog has been wonderful to follow and I look forward to reading more of your adventures when you begin again. When you publish your book sign me up for several copies.

I can only imagine what adventures you had that you aren't telling us about. Any hints?

Yes, the problem with running a travel blog is knowing exactly what to include. The web blog is used primarily for general dispatches and indeed there were many people that I met and experiences I had that aren't done justice with a simple dispatch.
